For this project from the Gunner School animation program, the creative brief tasked me with doing a collage-style animation using a photo taken from real life. I took a trip down to nearby Detroit, MI to look for inspiration, and I ended up capturing a couple of rough-looking houses on a side street that I thought had potential.
Going with the theme of rejuvenation, I scanned some patterns I have from vintage magazines I've collected for my personal collage habit (see tab above) and used them to give these downtrodden homes new life.
